UN ANNO DI SPEAKER’S CORNER: GRAZIE -- ONE YEAR OF SPEAKER’S CORNER: THANK YOU

5)            Carmelo Bene: necessariamente note molto marginali
6)            Notes about punk music in Italy (from Milano as a standpoint)
7)            Ripresa Van Pelt dei Peanuts
8)            “Io non sbaglio mai” (barman e cocktail)
9)            What’s My Name: The Clash
10)        I Meridiani Mondadori: una miope politica editoriale
11)        Note sul punk in Italia e a Milano
12)        Dino Buzzati: riflessioni su troppe celebrazioni e commemorazioni
15)        Tambura, Steve Tamburo, ovvero Stefano Tamburini
19)         Manic Street Preachers: National Treasures – one more
20)  EX AEQUO: Carlo Fruttero (senza dimenticare Franco Lucentini) e Perle mediatiche 3 – RAI5 colpisce ancora.

Grazie a tutti.

ONE YEAR OF SPEAKER’S CORNER: THANK YOU

Maybe not even my small gang of registered readers (bar one or two: I don’t even know if there are foreigners among them) will be interested by these lines. So I have no illusions about who finds the blog by means of a specific research. Oh, well …

The birth of Speaker’s Corner comes from two factors: one negative and the other positive. The first one was that it seemed impossible to enter the web without a proper webmaster helping the site owner. The second an Italian blog which I discovered by means of a post about Manic Street Preachers: I got in touch with its owner and asked him how he did it (the blog).
Thus, in the morning of August 23rd, 2011, having being illuminated at the dawning about the blog name, I put everything together: title, subtitle, cover illustration, etcetera, including the very first post.

Accesses in this first year have been well in excess of 6.000, therefore an average of 500 per month.
Considering that almost all the posts (bar a few in English, including number 6 in the ranking below) are in Italian, I must be glad of the results.
I do not think I will make use of the automatic translator device offered by Google, unless required, for a simple reason: my translations are not literal ones, they are English versions.

In decreasing order, here are the most successful posts of these twelve months (maybe you missed something?):
5)      Carmelo Bene: necessariamente note molto marginali
6)      Notes about punk music in Italy (from Milano as a standpoint)
7)      Ripresa Van Pelt dei Peanuts
8)      “Io non sbaglio mai” (barman e cocktail)
9)      What’s My Name: The Clash
10)  I Meridiani Mondadori: una miope politica editoriale
11)  Note sul punk in Italia e a Milano
12)  Dino Buzzati: riflessioni su troppe celebrazioni e commemorazioni
15)  Tambura, Steve Tamburo, ovvero Stefano Tamburini
19)   Manic Street Preachers: National Treasures – one more
20)  EX AEQUO: Carlo Fruttero (senza dimenticare Franco Lucentini) e Perle mediatiche 3 – RAI5 colpisce ancora.
Some of them have been – when necessary – very slightly amended after the first publication.

Thanks to you all.
